1. PackFit service
PackFit is a packaging decision-support application for ecommerce sellers. It can organize product and package information, import seller-authorized Etsy listings, identify packaging risks, recommend package types and dimensions, estimate purchase quantities, and provide dimensional-weight or shipping-rate references.
2. Beta status and eligibility
PackFit is currently offered as a limited beta. Features may change, be interrupted, or be removed. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and must provide accurate account and product information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
3. Packaging and shipping decisions
PackFit recommendations are estimates and decision-support tools, not guarantees of fit, protection, carrier acceptance, shipping cost, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, or safe delivery. You are responsible for verifying package dimensions, materials, cushioning, leak protection, labels, carrier rules, and the final packed shipment before use.
Dimensional-weight values and shipping rates shown by PackFit may be references rather than final carrier quotes. Actual carrier charges and requirements control.
4. Etsy integration
Connecting Etsy authorizes PackFit to read the shop and listing data described on the Etsy authorization screen. PackFit currently does not create or edit Etsy listings and does not request sales or payment data. You may disconnect the shop at any time. You remain responsible for your Etsy account, listings, shop policies, and compliance with Etsy's terms and policies.
The term “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use PackFit to:
- Access another user's shop, account, or data without authorization.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with service security.
- Misrepresent PackFit as endorsed or certified by Etsy.
- Violate applicable law, carrier requirements, Etsy policies, or the rights of another person.
- Scrape Etsy, bypass Etsy's API, or use PackFit to obtain data outside the seller-authorized workflows provided by the service.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of information you enter into PackFit and of content belonging to you. You grant PackFit permission to process that information only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to provide the features you request. PackFit's handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
PackFit relies on third-party services such as Etsy, hosting, authentication, database, AI, and shipping providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and may be unavailable or changed without PackFit's control.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using PackFit and disconnect Etsy at any time. PackFit may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address misuse, comply with law or third-party platform requirements, or discontinue the beta.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, PackFit is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-purpose operation. To the extent permitted by law, PackFit's operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, packaging decisions, shipment loss, or third-party services.
10. Changes and contact
These terms may change as the beta develops. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms.
Questions can be sent to shaojunbao476@gmail.com.
These terms are written for PackFit's current limited-beta feature set. They should be reviewed by qualified counsel before broader public or commercial launch.
